A Few Words On The China Study… Eat A Plant-Based Diet!

I cannot emphasize enough how beneficial to your health, and thus your quality of life, eating a plant-based diet is. I agree wholeheartedly with Dr. T. Colin Campbell, esteemed biochemist, professor emeritus at Cornell, and one of the foremost nutrition experts in the world, when he says:
“I know of nothing else in medicine that can come close to what a plant-based diet can do.”
As someone who has collaborated with many of the greatest doctors of our time, and who has performed some of the most groundbreaking modern day nutritional research (often in conjunction with some of the most respected MDs), Dr. Campbell possesses authoritative knowledge in the world of nutrition and health science, and his words bear great weight.
Dr. Campbell’s highly informative, prize winning book, The China Study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted And the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss, And Long-term Health, provides conclusive empirical evidence on the link between diet and various disease of affluence, but presented in an enjoyable-to-read way. Highly informative and eye-opening, it is my single most recommended book for those with a genuine interest in nutrition and eating healthier. (Note that it is not a diet book, but one that explains why a plant-based diet is optimal and why things like, for example, dairy are so harmful to our health.)
The greatest tool in the prevention of disease is eating an organic, whole foods, plant-based diet. This means eating foods that are as close to their original state (i.e. how they came out of the ground) as possible. Avoid, or at least limit, the processed, packaged foods that have become so ubiquitous in the modern day diet, and opt for fresh, organic, natural foods that will provide you with nutrients and vitality, and that will leave you feeling nourished, balanced, and energized.
