Super Healthy Aloe Lemonade

I wrote about the amazing benefits of raw, organic aloe vera juice and included a recipe for an easy “health elixir.” I wanted to share another great way to incorporate this wonderful juice into one’s diet, one that is particularly great for people who are just familiarizing with the taste.
Super Healthy Aloe Lemonade
Ingredients:
juice of 2-4 lemons
filtered water
2-4 ounces of raw organic aloe vera juice
stevia to taste (Personally, I find a couple drops to render it sweet enough, but others may like it sweeter in which case feel free to add more drops. Also make sure the stevia you use doesn’t have that weird bitter aftertaste. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, read this post)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a glass or a pitcher or whatever container accommodates the amount of water you used, give it a quick stir, and enjoy! This recipe is completely customizable to your personal tastes: you can use as much water and lemon and aloe as you would like to create a lemonade that you personally find delicious.
This recipe is amazingly healthy–you’re getting all the benefits of the aloe and all the benefits of the lemon (Vitamin C, enzymes, liver detoxification, alkalizing the body, and so on)– and it’s sweet (while having zero grams of sugar and containing no horrid artificial sweeteners) so is a nice way to enjoy aloe vera juice or to introduce it to people who are resistant to trying and/or unimpressed with its flavor, mild though it is. It tastes like lemonade and is obviously a much healthier, completely natural substitute for the sugary lemonade-soda type things on the market. And as stevia has no effect on glucose levels, it is a great sweet drink even for diabetics.

Great post. I was checking constantly this blog and I’m impressed! Very useful information specifically the last part :) I care for such info much. I was looking for this certain info for a long time. Thank you and good luck.
