Detox Your Liver With This Liver Flush Drink

The liver performs so many functions in our bodies and keeping it healthy is absolutely imperative to our overall health. This is a recipe I learned in Thailand for gently cleansing the liver. It is said to help flush out toxins and therefore aid in maintaining the integrity of this oft overtaxed organ.
At first glance, this does not sound particularly tasty, but I was surprised to find that I quite enjoy the flavor. I hope you will as well!
Liver Flush Drink
from Spa Samui
2 tbsp to 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil (I prefer to stay toward the lower end)
1/3 cup fresh orange juice (must be freshly squeezed/juiced and not processed OJs in which the nutrients have been killed)
juice from 1 to 2 lemons
3 to 5 cloves garlic
1 knob ginger
1/2 tsp to 1 tsp cayenne pepper, depending on taste
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
